Jill grew up on a farm near Greenfield and now live in Grimes with her husband, Joe. They have one adult son, Logan. She enjoys playing golf, cards and games, spending time with family and friends, and volunteering in her church and community. Massage, along with prayer, has been instrumental to healing in her life. She believes God blesses us all with different talents, and that He works through her to bring the healing power of touch to others.
\nJill discovered benefits of massage in 1999 during the height of her own stress in the corporate world. After experiencing profound healing from massage, she wanted to help others the way she had been helped. Jill graduated from the College of Massage and the Healing Arts Center in 2005, and also holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in business administration with a minor in finance from Upper Iowa University. Graduating with a 4.0 GPA, she has found teamwork to be essential to success, and she works well with others to find \u201cout-of-the-box\u201d solutions to problems.
\nIn 2011, Jill was appointed by Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad to the Iowa Board of Massage Therapy, and she served 6 years as a Professional Board Member. She has served as President of her business networking group. In 2013, Jill co-founded a group called LMT Networking and Learning, bringing together Licensed Massage Therapists regularly to polish their skills. Jill is a proud member of Associated Bodyworkers and Massage Professionals.\u00a0 She enjoys learning from other massage therapists.
\nPrior to becoming a massage therapist, Jill worked for an insurance company in benefits\/compensation and was a human resources manager at a distribution center. Jill\u2019s background in human resources helps her to empathize with others, and her caring nature shines through in her touch. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and travelling with family.\u00a0 In the past, she has coordinated Financial Peace University, and thrives on seeing others make progress.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
